In April 2020 elipsLife strengthened its Executive Team by appointing two new members: Patricia Mattle, CEO Switzerland/Liechtenstein and Wouter Moritz, Chief Financial Officer.
Patricia Mattle, CEO Switzerland/Liechtenstein and Member of the Executive Team, is a widely acknowledged expert in the group life business with international experience. She joined elipsLife from AXA where she lastly held various roles in the area of Autonomous Market Group Life, Employee Benefits and Pension Fund Management in the insurance industry over the past number of years. Patricia Mattle reports to the Group CEO and is based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Wouter Moritz was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Team, reporting to the Group CEO and based in Zurich, Switzerland. In his new role, he will be able to leverage his almost 20 years of experience across the field of Finance and in the insurance industry. Lastly, he has held the role of CFO on an ad interim basis.
In addition, Claude Schwarz has been named as new Chief Underwriting Officer, and, as of May, Nadja Steiner-Hansen will join as Head Legal, both are Advisors to the Executive Team.
