elipsLife appoints Alex Kirk as a.i. CFO and Member of the Executive Team, as of 1 November 2021, and subject to regulatory approval. He succeeds Wouter Moritz who has decided to leave elipsLife.
Wouter Moritz significantly contributed to the financial turnaround of elipsLife and has shown excellent contributions to elipsLife over many years.
Alex Kirk is a qualified accountant with over 20 years of insurance experience. He joined Swiss Re in 2013 where he held various roles, most recently heading Accounting & Reporting & IFRS at iptiQ.
In his role as a.i. CFO elipsLife, Alex Kirk will continue to drive the focus on profitability and cost leadership. He reports to Matthias Grass, CFO Corporate Solutions.
